MARETEC - Marine, Environment and Technology Center

MARETEC addresses Environmental Systems through a comprehensive approach to water, soil and atmosphere. Geophysical Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena and Computational Fluid Dynamics provide the grounds to Ecological and Economic studies necessary to support Environmental Sciences, Engineering and Management.

Action Modulers - Consulting & Technology

Action Modulers is a private consulting company,composed by two units:

• Research and Development - numerical modelling, development of technological solutions and applied training;
• Protection and Safety - protection and security consulting, planning and security auditing.

Action Modulers emerged in early 2004 with the mission of providing high quality consulting services. Through a strong connection to the university environment, the company continuously participates in scientific and technological development reaching a high level of skills. Human resources are the most valuable potential of the company.

HIDROMOD - Modelação em Engenharia

HIDROMOD, Modelação em Engenharia, Lda., develops and applies technical software in scientific and engineering fields related to fluid mechanics.HIDROMOD was founded in 1992, with the goal of providing a set of high quality technological services to the market, supported by a cooperation protocol with the marine technologies investigation group (MARETEC) from Instituto Superior Técnico.
